The annual Mosaic Foundation Bazaar is one of our most popular cultural events. Each year, Mosaic welcomes the holiday season by sharing the excitement of an Arabian Bazaar with our Washington friends.

This year’s Bazaar included jewelry, ornaments, textiles, and many more wares from the Arab World. Patrons were able to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and warm friendly atmosphere of an Arabian Bazaar.

They caught a glimpse of Arab culture through the art and music exhibits, and shopped for charming holiday gifts in our traditional Arab market.



There were also Henna and Calligraphy Artists, treasures from local retailers in our Silent Auction, and door prizes in our Raffle!

Through the Bazaar, we appeal to a diverse cross-section of the Washington community and introduce them to the Mosaic Foundation and our causes, while entertaining them on Sunday afternoon as they search for holiday gifts. This annual tradition, coming during the first week of the holiday shopping season, has become a popular destination for many Washingtonians.

Time: Bazaar was open to the public from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Parking: Valet parking at the hotel, street parking within a five minute walk, “Colonial Parking” Garage available two blocks west along M Street

Bus/Metro:   Closest Metro stop is the Farragut West/GWU stop on the Blue/Orange line.  Bus number 38B goes from Farragut Square to the Four Seasons every half hour.   The 30, 32, 34, 35, and 36 Buses all lead to the Hotel along Pennsylvania running from Friendship heights to Farragut Square.

Entrance: Five dollar donation.  This donation gets the guest one ticket for the Bazaar Raffle.  Guests may purchase additional raffle tickets should they so choose.
