Third Annual Benefit Dinner
May 3rd, 2000 - The National Building Museum

Beneficiary Cause
Save the Children®

On May 3, 2000, the Mosaic Foundation transformed the National Building Museum into the splendor of an Arabian Night. This glittering event featured regional music, dancing and the exotic cuisine of the Arab world.

Proceeds from the Third Annual Benefit Gala will support Save the Children®, an international non-profit child assistance organization working in 46 countries worldwide, the United States. Founded in 1938, its mission is to make lasting, positive changes in the lives of children in need. Save the Children® is a member of the International Save the Children Alliance, a partnership of 26 individual country members working with children and families in more than 100 nations. The money raised this year will help Save the Children® provide assistance to nearly 500,000 children and adults in the Arab world where Save the Children works, including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and the West Bank/Gaza Strip. Money will be directed to support programs in health, education, and economic opportunities.
