Mosaic Water Initiative

In 2009 the Mosaic Foundation will target global water issues that affect both human life and environmental integrity,

Why is water so important?
In times of crisis, women and children often bear the greatest burden, and suffer the greatest loss.

Every week, more than thirty seven thousand children under the age of five die from diseases related to low quality drinking water and lack of sanitation.

There are over 42 million people in the Arab World without access to improved drinking water.
